- Shared canvas for collaborative drawing and visual expression
- Environmental memory that learns from user patterns (24-hour retention)
The Service is provided free of charge and is designed for artistic, educational, and entertainment purposes.
3. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users of all ages. However:
- Users under 13 years of age should use the Service only with parental supervision
- Users under 18 years of age should have parental or guardian consent to use the Service
- You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction when using the Service
We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any reason at any time.
4. Account and Anonymous Use
4.1 No Account Required
Webarmonium does not require you to create an account. You can use the Service completely anonymously without providing any personal information.
4.2 Session Identifiers
When you join a collaborative room, we assign you a temporary anonymous session identifier (UUID). This identifier is used solely for technical purposes and is automatically deleted after 24 hours of inactivity or when you leave the room.

You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device and browser
- All activity that occurs during your session
- Ensuring your use complies with these Terms
5. Acceptable Use Policy
5.1 Permitted Use
You may use Webarmonium for lawful purposes only, including:
- Creating and experiencing collaborative music
- Artistic expression and experimentation
- Educational and research purposes
- Personal entertainment
5.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Abuse or Harass: Use the Service to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
- Disruptive Behavior: Intentionally disrupt rooms, interfere with others' experience, or spam gestures/drawings
- Harmful Content: Create, share, or transmit content that is illegal, offensive, obscene, defamatory, or violates others' rights
- System Exploitation: Attempt to circumvent security measures, exploit vulnerabilities, or reverse engineer the Service
- Automated Access: Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service without permission
- Denial of Service: Overload our servers or attempt to disrupt the Service's availability

- Ephemeral Nature: All content you create (gestures, audio patterns, drawings) is ephemeral and exists only during your active session. It is automatically deleted when you leave the room or after 24 hours.
- No Ownership Claims: We do not claim ownership of the creative output generated through your use of the Service
- Shared Experience: By participating in collaborative rooms, you acknowledge that your contributions become part of a shared, temporary experience with other users
- No Storage: We do not store, archive, or provide means to download or preserve user-generated content
6.3 Feedback and Suggestions
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback without any obligation to you.
7. Third-Party Services and Content
7.1 External APIs
Webarmonium uses data from third-party public APIs (Wikipedia, Hacker News, GitHub) for background audio visualization. These services are subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies:
7.2 Third-Party Libraries
The Service uses open-source libraries and CDN services (Tone.js, Socket.io, cdnjs). We are not responsible for the availability or content of these third-party services.
7.3 No Endorsement
Use of third-party data sources does not constitute endorsement of any individuals, organizations, or viewpoints represented in that data.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
IMPORTANT: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

- Block IP addresses or implement rate limiting to prevent abuse
- Remove or disable any content that violates these Terms
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to access the Service immediately ceases
- All session data is automatically deleted per our Privacy Policy
- Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification) continue to apply
